**Xtra Math 5 minutes each night**
1. Memory- Make another set of the same words on small pieces of paper. Have your child turn over 2 cards. If the words match they read them and keep the pair of matching sight words. Winner is whoever has the most cards.
2. Magic Word- Tape the cards around the house (ie. above a door, on the fridge, etc.) Before your child can go through the door or open the fridge, they need to read the magic word.
Spelling- y with a long e

- Tuesday- Lesson 6
- Wednesday- Lesson 7
- Thursday- Lesson 8
- Friday- Sheet and homework folder due :)
3. Sight Words
Please have your child cut out the sight words. Use them as flash cards. Sight words are to be memorized for fast recall. Many do not follow spelling rules, so they are not able to be sounded out. Keep them in an envelope or plastic baggie to use over and over. They will stay at home.
